The Eco Club at LKPS will be made up of teachers and a group of motivated students to learn about the environment and to take action to improve their immediate concerns.
It empower students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects, podha roopan, reusing materials,sponsor a tree or animal,recycling, sort the garbage.etc.
- To create awareness regarding diffrent types of pollutions, its cleaning and rejuvenation among students:visit to water bodies/ rain water harvesting structures/ biodiversity parks. Practicing water conservation activities.
- we involve our students in construction of compost pits, segregation of waste, tree plantation,carrying out tree census, preparation of biodiversity index.
